Early phase of life and how it began

Jones (earlier he wasn't called AJ) discussed his harsh childhood in the DVD Phenomenal: The Best of A.J. Styles: Volume 2, where he talks about growing up in poverty with an abusive and alcoholic father. He entered wrestling school because his friends were doing it, to find out that he was a natural at the sport. AJ had to suffer a lot in his childhood says.He said that they even didn't have any money for cable 😞. But he never gave up.

Jones attended college in Anderson, South Carolina, on a partial wrestling scholarship after graduating from Johnson High School in Gainesville, Georgia, class of 1996. He wanted to become a pro footballer but when he entered college his friends suggested him to wrestle which means that AJ is all by himself and no family bloodline or something like that. That's what makes AJ phenomenal.

During the early years of his professional wrestling career, Jones worked an assortment of jobs on the weekends to supplement his income, including delivering water and driving.

TEAMING AND TNA FRONTLINE

TEAM CAGE VS TEAM ANGLE Styles along with Christian Cage and Rhino were considered as TEAM CAGE and secondly the present day Dudley Boys along with Angle were the TEAM ANGLE . Styles team was later called Christian's Coalition . Team Cage lost to Team Angle at Lockdown . After the Lockdown was over AJ teamed up with Tomko . They had a match with Sting and Rhino at Victory Road , but were defeated. Later, at No Surrender AJ and Tomko won a 10-tag team gauntlet match and became the new number one contender for the tag team championship. At Bound For Glory , AJ and Tomko went against b where they defeated them to become the new TNA tag team champions. AJ and TOMKO with their titles They successfully defended against LAX on the November 1 episode of Impact, and at Genesis against The Steiner Brothers ( Rick and Scott Steiner ) . MEXICAN AND JAPANESE PARTNERSHIPS (2006–2013)

While in TNA, AJ was involved with the Mexican and Japanese promotions. He was involved in multiple promotions and was at his best. AJ IN MEXICAN PROMOTION On September 17, 2006 at Verano de Escándalo , Styles made his debut for Mexican promotion Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) , as part of a cross promotion deal between TNA and AAA . Team TNA (Styles, Homicide, Low Ki and Samoa Joe) defeated Vipers Revolution (Abismo Negro, Charly Manson, Electroshock and Histeria) in a semi finales tournament match then later defeating The Mexican Powers (Crazy Boy, Joe Lider and Juventud Guerrera) in the finals. AJ IN AAA During a partnership between TNA and New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) , Styles made four appearances for NJPW in 2008 , starting on January 4 at Wrestle Kingdom II , where Styles teamed with Christian Cage and Petey Williams to defeat RISE (Milano Collection AT, Minoru and Prince Devitt) in a six-man tag team match. FINAL STORYLINES (2012-13)

ENTIRE STORYLINE On the February 9 episode of Impact Wrestling, Kazarian , now seemingly a reluctant associate of Daniels , helped him defeat Styles in a singles match. Three days later at Against All Odds , Styles was defeated by Kazarian in a singles match. STYLES VS KAZARIAN AGAINST ALL ODDS On the March 3 episode of Impact Wrestling , Kazarian defeated Styles in a gauntlet match ; had Styles been successful, Kazarian would have to explain his alliance with Daniels . Mr. Anderson then aligned with Styles , defeating them in a match at Victory Road and at Lockdown , where the two duos were on opposing teams in the annual Lethal Lockdown match . On the May 10 episode of Impact Wrestling, Kazarian revealed that he originally aligned himself with Daniels to keep him from revealing Styles' secret, but changed his mind after learning what the secret was, at which point Daniels revealed a series of photographs insinuating a relationship between Styles and
